Dr. George Jaber, DDS

Bio

Originally from San Francisco, Dr. George Jaber relocated to Los Angeles for his higher education, attending the University of Southern California for both his undergraduate and dental studies. At the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, he deepened his interests in surgery and anesthesia. His pursuit of specialized knowledge led him to a demanding oral and maxillofacial surgery internship at The Ohio State University, a Level 1 trauma center in Columbus, Ohio. Following this, he completed his anesthesia residency at NYU Langone in Brooklyn, New York, a facility known for its complex medical cases and a diverse patient demographic including special needs and pediatric patients.

Further honing his skills, Dr. Jaber undertook a full-time, advanced clinical training program in surgical implant dentistry at UCLA. This interdisciplinary program covered a wide range of procedures including advanced implant surgery, tissue grafting, sinus procedures, and complex case management.

As a board-certified diplomate of the American Dental Board of Anesthesiology, Dr. Jaber holds an adjunct assistant professorship at USC’s Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry. He educates post-doctoral dental specialty residents and students, focusing on sedation, medical emergency preparedness, and sedation techniques to enhance patient outcomes. Dr. Jaber is also an active lecturer across local and national venues, advocating for elevated standards in dental anesthesia.

Dr. Jaber’s extensive, diverse training equips him with a unique set of skills and perspectives, allowing him to offer top-tier anesthesia, sedation, and dental surgical services across the San Francisco Bay and Greater Los Angeles areas. He is particularly committed to serving underserved populations, including pediatric and special needs patients, and has participated in dental missions in Honduras.

Memberships include the American Society of Dental Anesthesiologists, the American Dental Society of Anesthesia, the American Dental Association, and more. Dr. Jaber enjoys rowing, strength training, exploring new culinary experiences, snowboarding, and supporting Bay Area sports and USC football in his free time.
